Bilfinger wins orders valued at €35 million in Kuwait

Industrial services provider Bilfinger has won a contract in the growth region Middle East for key order in the power plant and seawater desalination areas. The volume of the framework agreements is about €35 million and they include annual maintenance and repair work at the Sabiya Power & Water Distillation Station in Kuwait.

Work will be carried out in the Maintenance, Modifications & Operations segment and will begin in 2018 with a term of five years. Operator of the facilities is Kuwait’s Ministry for Electricity and Water (MEW).
Tom Blades, CEO at Bilfinger: “The contracts are a strong signal out of our growth region Middle East. We have been serving this customer for many years. Providing competitive services with high quality, Bilfinger has helped the customer continue with the supply of reliable utilities to many consumers in Kuwait throughout the year. We are glad to continue this longstanding partnership.“
